Spring Plans

Howdy friends,

Despite low temperatures and recent SNOW (gasp!) in KW, there is something fresh in the air.  We’ve had a few days here in southern Ontario where it certainly feels like Spring is just around the corner.  Over here at Camp Blackwood, we’re happily reflecting on a busy and productive Winter.  We played some really fun shows and had some great experiences, like the international Folk Alliance conference and the Winterfolk Festival in downtown Toronto.  However, we’re definitely looking forward to busking without numb fingers and soaking up some Spring sunshine!

We’ve got a bunch of awesome Spring plans a-brewin’, including a stop at one of our favourite KW spots, Cafe Pyrus with Montreal songster Corinna Rose and our pals, the fantastic Ever Lovin’ Jug Band, a little 3-day romp ’round Ontario with old friend and wonderful songwriter Richard Garvey, and plans to finally share the stage with KW buddies A Yellow Field.  All this and more!  Spring is coming, we hope you’ll join us for some fun!

Head on over to the ‘Shows’ page to keep up to date on all the deets.

Folk Alliance and looking forward to spring

Hey there folks!

We sure hope the winter has been treating you well.  We’ve had a great and busy last couple months, culminating with the International Folk Alliance Conference this past weekend in downtown Toronto.  It was a seriously good time and incredibly inspiring.  It was an awesome chance to catch up with friends old and new, and be involved with some great music.

Our schedule mellows out for a couple months as we are looking ahead to Spring.  It doesn’t feel too far away!  Stay tuned for some great spring and summer plans in the works.  In the meantime, catch us next in Toronto:

Thursday, April 4th – The Local Pub, Toronto, ON. 9:30 PM

Thanks for checking in!
